Matthew Donnan is a research associate who works with hybridomas to help characterize and purify monoclonal antibodies. He is a current member of AALAS and has been trained in Surface Plasmon Resonance. Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with a Biomolecular concentration from Tennessee Tech University and was a part of the Honors Society of Chemical Engineers (OXE). On his free time, he likes to play chess and go hiking. He believes his passion for working at Appalachian Biosciences will increase the life expectancy of individuals with more rare diseases.
